hmmm sounds like sleep paralysis is pretty common and the experiences of all you sound similar but has anyone ever been able to actually HEAR when this happens?

One time I actually woke up before my body you know, like I couldn't move, but I could hear and knew I was in the bed but even felt that whole "hovering over body" sensation. It was weird but not scary at all. I just waited and I woke up. but it got me thinking.....

You can hear when it happens, but there usually isn't any noise. It's more likely to hallucinate like a ringing noise, or like once when I thought somebody was listening to Russian TV in the room next to me, and I even saw the light from the TV.
