I feel you. I guess what I mean is that I see so many awkward foreigners (no specific race) that come to Tokyo stunting their Sunday best thinking that they will be more accepted due to Tokyo's reputation for bizarre, forward fashion scene, as if they don't dress like that in their home country. In restrospect maybe maybe he's not in that category, his fit ain't that bonkers, just a knee jerk reaction. Difficult to explain, more of a feeling if you live in Tokyo.
