I'm going to Paris tomorrow, I've never been. Anyone have any recommendations for stores or restaurants or anything that I might wanna go check out? Thanks.

Did you post this just to brag or were you honestly expecting someone to tell you a bunch of places...think about it, most people on here are just young adults trying to find their place how the fuck could they afford paris. Unless they just went their of their parents money or some shit as a kid.

Why do you make threads about all the stuff you cop and ask for attention like that one time you quoted yourself 3 times about your own pickup.

Okay get off my dick okay? I've been putting money aside for 2 years so I could afford this trip. So don't give me shit. I'm not trying to brag. I'm legitimately asking a question because I figure people would know some places that I might not. And at the price of some of the clothing that people buy and post on here, they would easily be able to afford Paris.

Paris is a great city, but be careful of shady spots. i almost got robbed there a couple of times. Definitely check out the Champs-Elysees. Basically it's an avenue with a bunch of shops, cafes, restaurants etc... a lot of which is high end. i don't know too much about Paris, when i went to France I only spent about 4 days there total because we went all over the country and I was too young to really explore the city by myself( I was 12 when I went). Enjoy the trip!

Hey- have fun. I wish I would've decided to go, when it was a French class trip in school.

I think it would've cost $1200-1700ish.. which included airfare, hotel accommadations, and meals for a little over a week... which really isn't bad at all, considering it is Paris and I AM in Maryland... like some other ppl said, you really don't know how much a person is saving, or where they're flying from.

Even if you arent interested in history or anything definately hit up the Louvre, Notre Dame.

Someone said Champselysee, which is good then you end at Arc de Triomphe.

Also, Pont Neuf, which is a bridge that goes over the river Seine, but that area along the river is nice.

If it were open, which it is not due to structural problems, La Samaritaine at Pont Neuf is cool because at the top is where Bourne Identity? I forget which one, was shot.

I'm trying to remember where I had crepes, cause it was a long street with a lot of little crepe spots. Idk, I was like 15 when I went. Def check out some designer stores though.

^ yeah that's what he said.

I'm from Montreal so I know a little of what's going on in France. We have an agreement with them so flight tickets are pretty cheap.

Check this out for food spots and shops.

Also you can check out CDG, APC, and Journal Standard Japan if you're into that. Make sure you try the Macarons from Pierre Hermes! They will make you melt.

hello,

I'm French and currently living in Paris.

If you're looking to buy some stuffs well try French brands : APC , Sandro, Kitsune...
There is some cool area like pyramide, where there is near Colette and many shops.
Try also Printemps and galerie lafayette, they are big department stores.

But I don't think you will find something cheap to buy, because of the Euro currency...

Check out Montmartre in the north of Paris, Saint Germain , le Marais...
Go the the jardin du luxembourg it's so nice.

Some tips, be careful when you take some cash in a bank or when you are in the metro... foreigner are the most vulnerable.

Have fun.
