Silly question but does changing your taskbar or anything slow your computer down or on the flip side are simpler taskbars easier for your computer to run?

i have rainmeter installed on mine and it only takes a few seconds longer to boot up the desktop but its not like you will notice it slowing your computer down, so i cant see changing the taskbar slowing it down noticeably at all. smile

Mac OSX 10.8 here, if i change my theme, what's the best way to revert back to default if i end up not liking it. I wanna make sure i can revert back if i needed to.

Install CandyBar, download the icons from here, and apply them.

Then, install Mirage to make the dock invisible.

Finally, install GeekTool and create an image geeklet of a simple black bar and position it how you'd like.

If you want the song info on the right, install Bowtie and download the Gill Sans bowlet here.

If you want the date and weather on the left, create 3 shell geeklets and use codes for date, month, and weather that can be found with a quick google.

If you want the menubar at the top to match, you can download it here.

That Ubuntu 12.10 can't install chrome properly and -have- to open it using terminal lifestyle. Firefox sucks though, I refuse to use it.
