Update: I got rejected to USC and literally sat on my couch and stared at the letter for a good 30 minutes or so. I'm bummed out, but I'm definitely appealing that shit. Stats weren't that great, had a 4.26 GPA overall in HS with 12 AP classes. Also had a 1970 SAT score, which is sub par. Had a lot of EC's such as Varsity Basketball and Football, clubs on campus, and 450+ hours of comm. service which the UC's probably liked.

Yeah, I don't think you can switch schools. I think my appeal will be worth a shot since my brother is on the panel of admissions, and very influential at USC. I got into Muir for SD. Are you going to the preview day?

Appealing successfully to UCLA or Berk is damn near impossible. I'll be there next weekend as well. PM me or something. It'd be sick to meet an incoming freshmen there.

switching colleges at UCSD is tough. im almost sure that if it were to happen, you'd have to wait a full year till you were a sophomore anyway to switch out. and you'd have to be able to convince the school that you'd be able to graduate faster (or something along those lines) at the different college over the one you'd be switching out of.

My CC messed me up my accounting classes were not articulated and they just changed agreements with Long Beach and SDSU this year Fuck Assist and Fuck California's budget crisis. Not sure what to do I have enough credits to transfer but I could stay at a CC and get those accounting classes finished up and go to a better school but looking at almost a year from now, my CC canceled summer and winter session so its only offering two semesters a year. Im willing to go to either of the schools but just been on this cc shit for 2 years and do not want to stay where i live anymore, Im getting my AA after this semester, Any advice?

EDIT: I wouldn't trip about not getting into USC. At least you got into a handful of other great universities. Congrats, by the way.

so i pretty much failed 2nd semester of AP calculus AB and instead of retaking it next year im thinking about taking stats, does that mean i completely fucked up in school? if all my other classes go as expected i should end this semester with a 2.8

I plan on going to CSU: LA or any other school around the LA area

My overall CSU gpa is around a 3.3 and have yet to take my SATs
