So my girl got me the 8GB iTouch for Christmas.
I'm anal about keeping it "scratch free".

You guys have an suggestions on silicon covers?
Hard covers are okay, but only if they're really good.

The ones at walmart and radioshack are whack!

The screens on iphones and ipods are very scratch resistant. and who cares about the back. you dont need a case, unless you plan on dropping it alot

It will get scratched no matter what, but you can protect the screen with a screen protector but any plastic case will scratch the body due to dirt and dust trapped inside. Silicone scratches worse. Look into invisible shield although I never tried it and prob never will, the only sleeve that has left minimal scratches on my iphone is the iSkin Solo.

Oh, and return the piece of shit 8GB and get the 32GB, trust me on this one.

The surface doesn't scratch easily. I don't have any on mine and I've had it for 2 years w/o a cover.

Putting an ugly case on your ipod defeats the purpose of maintaining the aesthetic in the first place.

I just bought GameFacez silicone iPod case. I picked the series made from a cashmere silicone which bears my favorite mascot. It includes a screen protector and microfiber cleaning cloth!
