prices are about the same...theres basic gear and advanced gear for both and they range in price by quite a lot. you can find gear for both for pretty cheap if you look though.

Ganna have to disagree on that Wile bothe are expensive skiing is more expensive. I work in a snow shop we sell skiis and board and skiiing gets way more expensive. Even the clothes get really up there in price.
but that shouldnt be the what makes you choose one or the other.

I ride because I have always been a skater and a surfer and its kinda the same industry so wheni went out my first tie I felt more natrual on a board. It came natrual and now its become my favorite sport to do. I love riding the park. For me I like the 1 board for both feet idea. I used to hate skiiers but have recently in the past years found skiing cooler and cooler. I still will only ride everyday I go out.

There is no reason you cant do both more and more people are doing it and if you can its like you double the size of the mountain. But when it comes to decide dont look at us for advise if you should do one or the other, just think for yourself and deside which one you could have more fun doing.

some of my homies freestyle ski, but way more snowboard. i think i'd prefer snowboarding (based one the one time i've gone). frestyle skiing looks steezy as hell sometimes. go with what you think you'd like better since the gear pretty much costs the same

the urchins vs. skies

lol johnny tsunami.
I've never been skiing so i could only vote for snowboarding. I'm sure skiing is as fun snowboarding. Either way you get to rip down a mountain in the snow.
