cool no products needed, and braids or twist work fine, but the tighter the braid, the wavier it looks when its undone, and its best to pick at it using your fingers rather than combing it and risking combing it out into an afro puff

Lol trust me i never pick that shit out. Fuck i look like walking around like its the 70's lol. I always use my fingers as a pick now. Been doing this for the past 3 months. I just want that wavyyyyyy hair like the dude in the pic up there. It sucks cause im not tryna get cornrows either razz Im gonna probably try it one day though. and if i was gonna try dreads is there any point where it would be too late for my hair to lock up?


it takes hair like 2-9 months to loc depending on how thick/nappy your hair is


What exactly do i need to do? I been past that 9 month mark.

A few months back I went to get my haircut and the person who cut my hair did a terrible job. The person I normally got a haircut from was on vacation, so I just went to the next available person. So when I went to pay at the register, the cashier asked me if I was happy with my haircut and I just said it is not exactly what I wanted. She said, I'm sorry that I wasn't happy with the haircut and I didn't have to pay for the haircut. I still paid for the haircut, even though I wasn't happy with it.

Would you have paid for a bad haircut if they gave you a choice.

soak your hair in conditioner for like 2-3 hours and the hair should start to unravel. locs= hair thats been fused together from a lack of moisture

i have no idea what it's called, my best advice would just be to take the picture to the barber and tell him you want it without the slash. good luck man, post pics of the result.
