you can pull it off. ask for a side part, i don't think you want that fade to go that high on the side though.
grab some layrite (regular or superhold). regular works for me, but if you feel you need the superhold, grab that.

really, it's just a matter of finding a good barber. pay the extra bit for a quality nigga.

this thread makes me laugh, how do most of you niggas not know how to ask for a simple fade/temp/taper? get ya clipper knowledge up.

as for me i go to a barbershop in the hood, ask for a kemp cut, i switch up the lengths according to the season–shorter in the summer longer in the winter– and das all.

hair was getting mad scraggly and i didn't know what to do with it so I just told the barber to shave the sides. I can side part but I think I'll leave it like this for a while.

would you say bumble&bumble sumo wax would be better? I had my barber do somewhat of the same thing but not as high and he used layrite on me and within a couple of hours my hair started rising opposed to sumo wax. Maybe only my hair does this? :/

yeah i have asian hair too lol, prolly i just paste the wax like how i see the barbers do it but i never thought of it like that... hmmm i'll try that. thanks for advice

with the layrite, the superhold will probably do you justice if the regular doesn't work out. kinda depends on how much you put through your hair too.

and word LoLife, big matt from crow's nest was the one who put me on layrite initially. sidney cuts my hair now though.

IDK what to do with my hair i kind of have nappy hair but not like really nappy. It only starts to get nappy when I let it get to long. I usually get fades, caesars and an occasional design but i recently wanted to try something new because when my hair is short i usually look bald and if I let it get to long i look weird. So i was thinking of maybe getting a 2 on the sides and let it grow on the top. I'll try to update with a pic.
