Honestly I'm thinking about just getting some scurl text and tryna get the cleanest 360's possible. I'm not gonna spend my whole life brushing trying to do it the "real way".

See how his shit looks flat and smooth? That's what I was talking about and that's how I want mine to look.

And if you don't put in the work (brushing) your joints are gonna be deep and your hair won't be trained for the next time around.

as long as you use scurl text every two weeks and styling spray (NOT POMADE) your straight. Thats my friends method. Also use blue magic for the shine.

I got a pic of my friends results but its small. Shit still spins.

It be cheaper and you'll have a great feel of accomplishment if you just invested in a good brush, du-rag, wave cap, moisterizer and some good know how.

Yeah I'll feel accomplished when my waves look just as good as the dude who's been brushing for months and I only put forth 1/20th of the effort he did to get mine >sad. I have better things to do then waste my time brushing all day trying to get a feeling of accomplishment.

Why would you need to brush all day? Shouldn't take longer than a minute.

Just tried it out and it came out almost exactly like the picture I posted. Works if you have hair like his (or pretty much just black texture). Make sure you have at least 2.5 inches of hair to work with.

1) Use S-Curl kit for about 7 minutes. Don't want tight curls, just enough so that it sort of springs up.

2) Brush your hair down and then use a wave cap over it. Wait for your hair to dry (should take 45min to an hour. You can also do this overnight)

3) After your hair is dry take a wide toothed comb and comb backwards from the front of your hairline to the crown of your head. The mohawk part should only be as wide as the VERTICAL length of your forehead (usually about 2 inches). Do the same for the back of your head.

If you mess up at any point in this (don't know why you would) just brush your hair down and put the wave cap on again. This is all what my barber told me to do and it came out pretty damn good.

Get a 2 all-around with a blowout every two-three weeks. Edge it up myself every week unless I'm feeling lazy then I'll have the shop do it.

^ That's a pretty lame haircut. Can't see a non-celebrity rockin it. But to answer your question, It looks like they used a 7/8 inch on the side and the top looks layered; shorter on the side and longer up to the top.

^ The first picture u placed looked like a 7/8 inch which is a #7. Your more recent pictures although still homo in nature looks like they used a #8, which is 1 inch. The sideburns and neck lines look thinner than the side of his hair so I think prior to the haircut, maybe by a couple of weeks, he got it tapered or the barber/hair stylists adjusted the coarse/fine lever to cause such a look.

Again though, I urge you not to get such a homo haircut. At the end though, it's your choice.
