Pyschology maybe pyschiatry tryna make that cool $120,000 a year ya feel me.
psychology and psychiatry are pretty different in terms of study. Psychology is like a regular major and you need PhD to become a practicing psychologist. Psychiatrist's on the other hand, go to med school and are proper medical doctors (M.D.s and D.O.s) who can prescribe drugs and have an overall knowledge of the human body.
For those people who do not know what to major in at the moment, just lay off college for a year or two until you can decide. You'll gain more experience outside then you can go back to school when your like 23-25. Best move you'll ever make, seriously.
I gotta disagree, most ppl go into freshmen year w/o knowing their major and many of those that do end up changing it. Part of freshmen and sophomore year is taking random classes that interest you so that you know what you want to major in. I didn't pick my major until 2nd semester sophomore year and I graduated on time. Taking a year or two off from college isn't gonna do all that much in terms of helping you decide what you wanna major in, you'll learn a lot more about your academic interests by actually taking classes related to the majors you're considering. Plus, the longer you take before college, the longer it is before you get a job and start making a decent salary w/ your degree.
