I can speak and write Korean & English fluently. My first language is Korean.

I took 3 years of Spanish back in high school, but I only know couple of words and phrases now. As much as I like learning new language, I didn't enjoy learning it in the classroom. Maybe the way the school is teaching it? idk but I feel like I learned more and easier from my Latino friends.

I just got Rosetta Stone demo CD today so I can find out what's all the fuss is about it. It turns out it's pretty interesting and much quicker than conventional way of learning new language!
I really want to learn Portuguese. Perhaps Russian as well.

So how many languages do you know? smile

English, Illocano (Filipino dialect), and I wasted my time learning French because no one speaks it anywhere near where I live. Also, most of the jobs I've seen have started asking for bilingual spanish/english speakers. I should have just studied Spanish.

if you're good at Hungarian, you very well might be able to do Japanese as they're both considered two of the most difficult languages to learn.

Anyway, I only speak English and some Spanish. Did a summer term in Madrid which helped a lot but that was 5 years ago and it's pretty much all gone to shit now.
