If the designers of the skin actually placed correct leading on the entire layout, it might work fine. Then there's the colored balloon knot cat's buttholes on the left don't make it distracting enough, let's resort to classic Helvetica making us look even closer to SuperFuture, and THEN place the stereotypical facebook link in the top right. I understand you want to keep up with web 2.0 standards kevin, but at least do it in a unique way.

as I said before ..

this new layout falls through some shitty design holes for message boards.

the huge fucking circles throw everything off, the grey accents were better before, this one is much to spread about. the fucking padding on the thread titles make me not want to click on anything (same ass the circles making the height bigger on 12px font thread titles..) horrible, go back to the other way.. it was much more "minimalistic" then this shitty theme.. just my opinion. this might actually make me resign from this board, finally haha
