no one here likes bapes either tho... props to the dude but the shoe is what it is and kanye is what he is but they're separate entities as far as judging the quality of the shoe

lol yea they have shoes but they are all crap. And Lugz and Reebok arent up to par with Nike. Basically the fact that Nike gave him a shoe makes it a big deal because no one cares much for Reebok Adidas etc....Nike has everyone caught in the hype so almost any collabo they drop has a chance to do well and in this case with Kanye it has the chance to be huge for them

I went to the miami show the other night and was prolly the last person to notice what type of marketing genius both nike and kanye are using with that tour to promote that shoe.

Yea it is genius on both parts....Kanye could wear ANY shoe and have people who notice it go out and buy it but the fact that he is wearing his unreleased upcoming shoe leaves everyone who goes to his show waiting and excited for the release which makes new money for both him and nike

I was working backstage as a stagehand last night. I got to see Kanye's shoe's up pretty close. They were just like the black ones and instead of tan they were more gold like his jacket. I would of took pics, but security was mad tight. They wouldn't even let us take out our sell phone cause they thought we might record something.
