Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm quite sure that "shima" means stripe in Japanese, to describe that striped lining on the inside. Very nice set of shoes, there were also a set of shima dunks. One of my all time favs...

Beside the AM1's and Dunks there also was a couple of air trainer 1's.
