New Nike SB dunk Low Tongues

I cant believe they took the fat toungue out.. might as well not call them SB's anymore. What do you guys think about the fact that they took the Traditional Fat Toungue out?

Im glad they did. they skate a shitload better now.

Im hoping itll eventually kill all the non-skater hype on em.

Isn't this old new now??? I'm pretty sure the fat tongues were gone like 6 months+ ago.

The fat tongues are what made the dunk low sbs. now, they're just a regular dunk low. It doesn't help the color schemes for most of them are wack too.

I definetely skated better with the fat tongues. Even with the whole slimming down of skate shoes trends (board feel is the new heel bubble), most companies still have a little bit of padding on the tongue. The way the dunk sb lows were in the beginning were perfect. Just the right amount of padding without the sneaks feeling like boxing gloves on your feet. Now, they're just really not that special anymore. Add the ugly colors that they've been putting out on those and it's game over for me.

even alot of the dunk sbs that I thought were kind of crappy before they took out the padded tongue look ten times better now compared to the new batch.

Fat tongues are nice but the older thinner tongues were nice too like on bucks. Haven't got a pair new with thin tongues yet.

Fat tongues made them more visually appealing, and made them stand out from regular dunks, but I highly doubt Nike will bring them back.

Eh....they are still stuffed, but just not as much. Kinda weak-sauce now. About as stuffed as the blazers...first the lace bag, and then the tongue. why not just put a 360 bubble on the bottom of them... fuck it.

na. collar is still wider with all the extra padding + the zoom air insole + the round laces.
