I definitely like to coordinate colors, but too much matching just looks god awful. I think the best way to wear shoes is to wear a simple top with maybe one matching color and let the shoes pop out. But I can get pretty extravagant with my clothes, especially in the winter, and that's when I match more or else shit just looks stupid and clashes too much. But when the weather is warm it's all about minimal matching.

Yeah, I have other forums where I go to talk and socialize about shit. But here I strictly check out shoes/clothes and see what people think about shit related to them.

coordinating or smart "mis-matching"

can do the job better then matching

matching too much makes u look like doods in the hood with their custom matching biggies tees

Yeah, I always match in some way. But, not like every single color. I just got into the game a little while ago but my goal is to get a rainbow of shoes so I can always match no matter what I wear haha.

I don't care too much about 'matching' I just wear shit that looks good together.

But the really pro-matching people's usernames are harlemhustla and MrUaInTgOtEm.

Just saying.

Yes indeed.

Matching is easy. Wearing clothes that don't match and not looking like a clown is difficult and an art in itself. Definetly not suited for lazy folk.

I cant NOT match...I feel off. I mean even to go out to take out the garbage or hit 7-11 at 2am for a Full Throttle while pullin another all nighter...I gotta match. Like if I throw on my black shorts and Hawaii SB's I gotta wear a red, black, or orange hoody/T I wouldnt feel right wearing those shoes and shorts with say a purple or green hoody/T

thats just how I am. I had to run to the hardware store for some more acetone yesterday...had on gold shorts and a navy T....had a bunch of shoes just layin around, but I purposely opened my box of white/gold LBJ III's just to get some acetone when i could have just as easily put on the gray/gum Journey's dunks that were right by the door....but my mind just wouldnt let me do it.

Thats the thing, You cant purposefully wear an extreme color. When not matching you wear a neutral color, like grey. You want to accentuate (sp) a certain item you are wearing. So If you are wearing bright ass shoes, you want to draw people to your shoes. So you have On like a grey/white/black shirt with none or not too many colors, blue jeans (because they go with anything), and your pink, yellow and royal blue shoe (etc.)

Or wear a hat that has one of the colors on the shoe (that doesn't encompass the whole hat). Or on your neutral shirt, have just a splash of a certain color on the shoe. WHATEVER! You are just trying to draw attention to a certain article you are wearing. Not attention to yourself.

It's matching without matching.

Fuck neutral colors. Some colors just compliment eachother. I like red/teal together.

If the sneakers are loud and garish (say like Tiffs), I'll try to get at least one colour matching so it doesn't look that random.

If they're neutral, I don't really care.

I think a red shirt with some tiffs, perfect. Maybe a black print on it if you're that paranoid that it doesn't 'match'.

Using a color wheel you can also find contrasting colors, which still look well together.

Take a look at the UNDFTD Dunk.. bright colors along with dark/neutral. It's harmonious. Not exactly matching.. but contrasting and complimenting.
