Storing your shoes

I notice ALOT of people are storing their shoes in plastic bags, Whats the purpose of this? and what type of bag are they using? I dont think ziplock bags come large enough?

Yeah, you buy Large Storage Ziploc Bag's from almost any grocery store. They work great since you seal the shoe from harsh element's in the atmosphere and stuff like that. I'd recommend it to anyone. Been working for me for 4 year's and going.

the largest I have seen is gallon size and I dont believe they will hold size 12's???????

They work great. Stops the shoes from yellowing at least from my experience.

Just keep them in a dark cool place like a closet
Dont wrap your kicks up
Also dont stack them to high,it'll damage the box in the long run
I stack mine 4 at the most

Also dont put silica packs near sneakers with Polyurethane midsoles
cause that'll dry them out and make them crack in the long run
Polyurethane midsoles are air jordan II,III,IV.etc. . . .

ziplock does have abag big enough
they have a 2.5 gal. one
it fits my size 11 af1 highs with room to spare

i have roughly about 120 pairs in the garage stored in those bags

i agree, with the exception of the silica packs. they are known to dry out midsoles and may lead to cracking or crumbling. be sure to keep them in a dry and cool place like a closet

Do ziplock bags contain acid?

An entire generation of comic collectors found out the hard way when the found out the acid from the clear bags yellowed the pages of their comics.
