I wonder why there are almost none (well 1) Pigeons for sale on the board. Is there some rule against it?


No.

Just means that a lot of members didn't kawp or aren't willing to sell, they were limited to around 600 anyway.

Got mine at sole service(in Norway). Wasnt a big line there. A buddy of mine showed up a few hours after they opened and they had a few left, including a pair in my size smile

No size 13's were made from what I understand. If a size 13 pops up on ebay its either a fake or some rare friends and family type crap.

If you don't mind me asking how many pairs did sole service sell? I bought a size 12 from them online and it should be here tomorrow. Online they only had like 4 pairs for sell thats why I was asking.

jeff staple is a pompous asshole... he acts like new balance should be privledged to have him design a shoe..... a shoe he already designed for nike.. he also said it took him a year to design.. really??

NB 575 White Pigeon
After a few minutes of searching I was unable to locate a thread for the New Balance 575 White Pigeon that is set to drop in August. Therefore I am deciding to give my two cents worth. I saw the shoe today on Nico's feet at Reed Space. I have always fostered a love hate relationship with Staple. I think the Jeff is an extremely talented individual who works hard and is very passionate about what he does. In fact his work is some of which inspired me to study graphic design. I think the part for me that gets me low is I have met him a few times now and I don't think he would ever give me the time of day...but in all fairness I am, in his eyes, just another kid. For those of you who go on to do big things, stay grounded and stay humble. Know that there are people who would switch positions with you in a heartbeat.

As for the shoes...I was, like just about every person who is half interested in shoes, excited for the dunks when they came out. As for the first release of the 575 in August 2008 I felt it was a copy paste from the dunk onto the 575 silhouette. I appreciated the converse because it was something a little different. Not my style but props on the shoe. The coordination for the launch was not really executed that well so I feel it didn't get the props it deserved (Not Jeff's fault). But to be honest with you I am much more excited for the 575 White Pigeon then any other of the releases to date. I feel that this shoe is a little more thought out. The subtle grays and white accents are much more appealing in my opinion and the orange even seems a little more vibrant. In fact I would go out on a limb and say that these shoes will rank as one of my top 10 favorite sneakers. A bold statement but this shoe looks great. My only criticism is I wish that both the pigeons on the back were the original one and not the semi-flying one.
