I've been wanting to buy a pair of new balances for a while, but i don't really know much about the shoe other than it looks like a comfy and nice shoe. what would be a good first pair?

574. can't go wrong with a classic. Or you could try the 1300's on rivington club right now. I'm kinda digging those right now. zappos always have a lot of new balances too. all nb's are super comfy so just find you think are on point and pick em up.

Just make sure you try them on. They're not comfy at all if you get the wrong size.

i finally got my first pair of NB's, well i got two since they were just eleven dollars each. brown/wheat 574's and all grey 574's in a 10.5. probably the best pick ups in a while.

I heard that NBs fit a bit small. Folks have told me that they usually size up with new balance shoes. Any insight on this?

It all depends on what you like bro, try on as many different models as possible and see which is to your liking.
