Post those special songs that make the hair on the back of your neck stand up and send chills down your spine. Stories about their significance are welcome.

My List:

Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead- Saw them live when I was about 8. That in itself was life changing. I didn't know anything about them but this song moved me. I can't really describe what I feel when I listen to it, but it is my favorite song of all time.

Fast Car by Tracy Chapman- One of the most raw and moving songs.

Fix You by Coldplay- Something about this song gets me everytime.

Nessun Dorma by Pavarotti- My mom played me classical music as a child and this is the first song I remember listening to, probably because it's so powerful.

Not necessarily changed but it inspired me.

Saosin-They Perch On Stilts

The chorus is "I see a blank notebook page and it's my life. There is nothing I can think to write." That really touched me in high school when I was having to decide what I wanted to do with myself when I graduated.

1st Love- Murs
Yesterday- Murs (positive change though)
Woman Tonight- Felt (Slug & Murs)
Come Back To You- Charles Hamilton
I'll Be Around (Outro)- Charles Hamilton
Writing in the Sky (Bonus)- Charles Hamilton
Coldest Winter- Kanye West
Hey Mama- Kanye West
Drive Slow- Kanye West ft. GLC & Paul Wall
One Good Time- Tech N9ne
Hope For a Higher Power- Tech N9ne
Letter to the King- The Game ft. Nas

They haven't changed my life completely, but have impacted it in a way that resulted in change once applied to my life or some just put me in a mind state in which i haven't felt before, you know? Sorry for the somewhat long list :/

2Pac - Dear Mama
When I have hard times with my mom, always gotta listen to this track to calm me down and just lay back and just be thankful, that I even have one and that she's there for me... And damn just the other day, she bought me this Black Cross with a Diamond on the middle from Peoples, and I ain't even give her shit...

And for that girl thats always on my mind...no homo here but,

Can I live -Jay-z, this song made me grind hard my first semester of college, and at work, and motivated me to buy the car I wanted. this is like a perfect "come up" soundtrack

The one liners in there like "i'd rather die enormous, than live dormant" are really powerful.

most of you people arent really looking at what the point is..name songs that changed your entire life..not just good ass songs that you said oh shit i love this and you bop your head to it when you hear it...this song honestly makes me want to cry..

but im an e-thug..and e-thugs dont cry

As much as I hate to say it, i really don't think there's any one single song that I can say actually "changed my life". Some got me into things or made me realize certain things but I really don't believe that a single song has changed my life. Albums, yeah. Artists, yeah. But like single songs...nah man

All I do is smoke weed, blow lines, and listen to MF DOOM. And rap. http://www.facebook.com/SpacemanNYC

This song not only changed my life and the type of music I listened to, but I'd pinpoint it as the reason that trance is no longer heard in clubs in the US and house dominates.
