i heard the old all eminem version...why is dre spittin the entire em verse?
January 6, 2009 @ 01:18 PM

Dre is spitting the whole EM verse because it was written for him. What you heard before was Em mimicking Dre's voice and mannerisms so Dre would know what do do when he got in the booth. This is how it's done when people ghostwrite for you.

As for the song. It sounds ok. Em is spitting better then he has in a while. The beat is vintage Dre and 50 is 50. But I cant help but feel this is outdated. It sounds cool, but it also sounds better suited for 1998-2000. Em has always had a way with words and a ridiculous flow but for the first time i see the signs of rust, as in he let it sit so long he didn't advance with the times. This coupled with that new 50 Cent song lets me know that Shady/Aftermath is stuck in a time period when they where on top of the rap world. Things have changed.

the one w/ em rapping all verses is the old version. this is the new version and the way it is supposed to be. if you listen to the old version, em introduces dre but em raps instead of dre.

Anyone know what song he sampled the beat from? I'm pretty sure it's sampled cause its almost the same sample as this song on Wu Tang Meets The Indie Culture, that album that was put out by Think Differently Music. The song's called Preservation and has Aesop Rock and Del the Funky Homosapien on it. I really like what they did with the beat there better for some reason.

I like this and I like how its Dre's actual voice now instead of Em's fake deep voice.

Em obviously ghost wrote dre's part... notice how 50s verse is different when he spits and Dres is the same. If Em didnt write Dres verse than he def showed him how to deliver it. Don't get me wrong Dre is a beast.. production wise.

i swear i think dre's sound is gettin so played out....

the simple drums and melody is so weak to me......the last beat he made that was actually hot was that Busta track on The Big Bang......and maybe that bishop lamont track
