Doom is dope. I don't kno what u dudes saying about his mumbling and shit.. never even noticed that and I've listened to a ton of Doom. As for being "overrated," I think that its only in the sense that too many other rappers these days are garbage. You can't fuck with Doom's production.

In terms of creativity Doom can't be matched the samples he chooses are just too original, and the way he rhymes is like none other...no way in hell is he overated..I mean whos overrating him? if anything hes underrated

direct me to some of his best work? i like the things he says...great lyricist. but i cant stand his (for lack of a better word) "swag" on the mic. hes not very charismatic.

he was the lupe of like 02 lol.

very overrated. sure he sampled some great stuff but the production was always ehh to me. almost always had a nice flow but had too much of a gritty quality in his voice and production for me to appreciate for long. im not gonna deny hes a big contributor to hip hop culture but i find him immensely overrated


and snav your not really missing much from his discog. my homie added to my ipod and i deleted it all when i got home. biggest waste of like 2 gigs

overrated? he's every rapper's, rapper. personally recommended to me by guys like murs when operation doomsday dropped. he was ahead of his time for sure.
