Hardcore hit a point where it was definitely at a stand-still....but it's definately picking up again...even if half of the newer bands coming out just jock No Warning's "ill blood" LP. Anyway, what i've been listening to lately :

All Out War - Truth in the Age of Lies.
Ringworm - Birth is Pain.
The Hope Conspiracy - File 03.
Raid - Above the Law.
Skitsystem - Allt E Skit.

A lot is happening though in the scene now....just look at Burning Fight fest, and do yourself a favor and educate yourselves on 90's hardcore.
June 12, 2009 @ 00:35:24
Also, if anyone is interested in 90's hardcore check out my good buddies band Path to Misery...they're on somewhat of a hiatus right now but it's one of closest things you'll get to 90's metal influenced hardcore. Think Racetraitor, but heavier and way better production. they also run a blog you can check out :

Keep this thread alive

90's hardcore for the most part is what i'm into...since it was a part of growing up for me.

but yeah anyways...i haven't heard anybody mention racetraitor in a while! awesome band. when i think of that band i also think of Kill the slave master(drummer is in falloutboy now...!) around the time i was listening to those bands i was also into:

unruh, gehenna, his hero is gone, since by man, combatwoundedveteran, in/humanity, puritan, and orchid among others....

creation is crucifixion is a fucking awesome metal band that no one really seems to know about
June 12, 2009 @ 20:44:09
I'm a big Creation is Crucifixion fan. Funny story, some of my friends from chicago came to cleveland to visit and fallout boy was playing...long story short my friends were mutual friends of theirs so we hung out with them after the would shit if they knew the story behind those guys and the bands they were in (Extinction is probably my favorite)

I'm a big His Hero is Gone fan, as well..and pretty much all the bands you mentioned. Were you at Burning Fight?
June 15, 2009 @ 10:59:49
couldn't make it to chicago...and i wasn't able to make it to the Unbroken show closer to where i leave either. Swing Kids played that show...kicking myself for missing that shit.

good shit though looking.
