well i finished the album, which was pretty good. he has a lot of features on it like T Pain, Estelle, Akon, and Clipse to name a few. He only has 6 out of 16 songs by himself, and i think he used so many features because he actually had access to them this time.
overall props, the Nina track is banging

have you ever listened to any of his albums?
he's been around for years, he had to add some commercial songs to break into the mainstream US
even doing so, i feel he still came hard and repped t dot to the fullest

listen to this song and tell me if this is a predictable replica of anything that's out in the mainstream hip hop scene:

Kardi has always been dope, but I don't think this compares to firestarter vol. 1 or Fire and Glory. Those albums were Kardi at his best. if anyone thinks kardi is wack because of this album, go look for the ones I mentioned.

I like the album. He brings a new vibe to the hip-hop table. Alot of energy and alot of spontaneous sounds. His adlibs are crazy too. He has a freestyle near the end of the album that is bonkers. He'll be around for a while, cause he is different and brings his own style. His t-pain "can't believe it remix" is crazy.

P.S. Chris Bosh is a good hooper and all, but until he cuts that garbage off his head I can't take him as a hip-hop head.

Garbage off his head? get the fuck outta here.

That's gotta be the most ignorant thing I've heard in a while, lol. You can't take someone as a hip hop head because of their HAIR?

and of course he'll be around for a while, he's already been around since '97.

the toronto hiphop scene is great for many reasons .. but i think because of the cultural diversity of the city and the generally well versed musical knowledge of the young people toronto usually knows whats up.. not taking away anything from the 604 tho..
