Dude, Anyone Can Fucking Make This Dumbass

Sep 10, 2008 @ 16:09
The official is just like Dope Boy Fresh: a bit disappointing.

Kanye sang it better live.
Sep 10, 2008 @ 16:33
honestly i listen to every kanye album regardless of the hype. at the end of it, for the last 3 albs i've enjoyed em. and i think he's gone through so much and i'm kind of excited to hear how he's dealt with it musically because he's kind of kept to himself about his mothers passing.
rip donda west btw

Kanye West - Love Lockdown (CDQ)

Sep 10, 2008 @ 16:36
hope its good and not all singing.. like he said he been through alot and he should let the ink pen bleed on this album but hey if kanye wanna sing let the dude sing its his life he still gonna go plat regardless
Sep 10, 2008 @ 16:37
Hmmm, the live performance was more energetic than this one.And those drums that just came outta now where was amazing.

This however, hmm maybe and second attempt at recording.

Definitely better live. Not sure what he's trying to go for on the chorus. Im still diging the song though...even if it's just to download that hoe to my ipod and blast this in the whip when im drunk as fuck. I cant wait to see all the sould sample, auto tune hating Kanye fans disown him now though...that shits gonna be funny/epic.
Sep 10, 2008 @ 16:47
Is the chorus sabotaged to combat bootlegging?
Sep 10, 2008 @ 16:50
My only qualm is that I wish the chorus showed the same intensity as the live performance.
Sep 10, 2008 @ 16:52
love the album title.

Kanye West - Love Lockdown CDQ - -

Sep 10, 2008 @ 17:22
What a dissapointment
Sep 10, 2008 @ 17:30
I really don't think this is the final cut of this song, I think what will end up on the album will be much better. This sounds like something that was done quick and put out because of the VMAs performance.

Song is getting a lot of hate on his blog for the vocals, hopefully he cleans it up for the album.

i'm the best mayne, i deed it

as it should. lets just hope its not the final cut
Sep 10, 2008 @ 17:46
yeahhh.. everything is the cdq version is tight except the chorus

..cuz i even know what hes supposed to be sayin and i STILL cant understand him. its like keep you loveloblblel. your love lockdo-

now that i think about it, hell prolly fix like he did with timbaland on Stronger
Sep 10, 2008 @ 18:01
i've been waiting and watching the discussion of "Love Lockdown." now that i've heard the CDQ version of the song i can say now that i'm officially waiting to here the whole LP. am i getting sick and tired of every popular rapper put "t-payne" on their voices? yes, yes I am. Can I appreciate it when it's used in tastefulness and when it actually compliments the track? yes, yes I can. and this is the case for "Love Lockdown." its been berating my mind since i've heard it, but in a good way.

i appluad kanye for obviously redefining himself for every album. can't wait for December. i feel like Kanye will make up for the inevitable disapointment ill receive from Blueprint 3 in November.

Sep 10, 2008 @ 19:12
maaaaaaan. im still lovin it.
Sep 10, 2008 @ 19:16
Seriously...I felt Rick Rolled when the chorus came in. I lol'd, paused, then realised it was the same CDQ on his blog. Even if it's a rough copy, this isn't like re-doing the drums on Stronger, sounds like the tape got chewed up & the whole thing sounds off.
