The beats that Kanye produced on Tha Carter 3 weren't bad so I don't feel bad about him producing for the majority of BP3.

I've heard some producers have been hinting at being invovled and also beans said was hinting at the possibility of jigga not choosing all of the kanye beats..

Yeh, as good as Kanye's stuff is with Jay Z I'd like to hear a few things with some other people. Possibly another track with Rick Rubin would be interesting.

I'd like for Jigga to use some people other than 'Ye, too. I like 'Ye's production, but Blueprint 3 is gonna need some bangers, too. Holla at Just Blaze at least.

I think that the one producer one MC format is a lost art. Not saying albums cant be dope and classic with more then one producer but allot of times when you throw allot of producers on an album it starts to sound more like a mixtape or an album with juts a bunch of beats and no real direction. Its not surprising that allot of the golden era hip hop albums usually only had a few producer on each track. It makes the album cohesive...it gives the album a feel and a sound. Im amped for this.

A Blaze track is so necessary. West did produce some highlight tracks on the Blueprint, hopefully he can do the same again.

Why did jay even retire? This will be crazy...hopefully. Maybe this will resurrect early 2000's jay-z too.&)

There's almost a consensus that AG was vinatge Jay though. I think he redeemed himself in terms of music, critically, album sales and back to the hardcore feeling with AMerican GAngster. I mean you cant please all the people all the time but the love for AG was almost universal. And only in Hip Hop would someone need to have a "comeback" from one weak album lol. Sans BP2 & Kingdom Come...the man has a catalog of classics and hit albums.

I'm not suprised at all. When I heard Timbaland was first annouced as the main producer on The Blueprint 3, I was like ok that's not bad because of the resume they've had together. But it only made sense to have Kanye West to do most of it because of the impact the Blueprint 1 had on Kanye's career.

If they both keep it epic...it's a potential classic.

Wise suggestion.

This is going to be dope. They're just teasing us fans right now, especially after the preview of Dope Boy Fresh.

exactly. Plus, this is specifically a Blueprint album, not just some random Jay-Z album, meaning that there's a specific sound that he's trying to acheive on this particular album, which one would assume Kanye is contributing. Yeah Jay-Z sounds good over Neptunes beats but on a Blueprint album idk if we need all of the guitar vamps and synth doop-doops and falsetto singing and shit, you need the soul samples.
