kanye produced 90% of the album

just blaze produce 5% you know the tracks that get you really pumped up

and neptunes produce 5% you know for the club tracks and lady tracks

thats how I would see it

edit

and for the dude that said american gangsta was not so hot

kill yourself

that shit was vintage jay,I love every single track on that cd,jay could have left the game off that cd

ag is in the same rank as blueprint and RD

2nd edit

do you guys think wayne and jay may be competing

since wayne got carter 3

now jay coming out with bp 3

Im glad hes not going with like 8 different producers. The less the better.

Kanye is a very diverse producer, he has the tools to carry a Jay album by himself. Everyone has failed to mention the fact that he produced "Jockin' Jay-Z" which is completely in a style we have never heard from him. I mean look at his credits, yes, he did get famous from doing soul beats, but if you look at his career he has been able to re-invent his style.
"Rebuilding" by Goodie Mob
"Much More" by Shyne
"Where U At?" with Luda & Game
"Stronger"
"B R Right" by Trina with Luda
"The Cool"
"Do U Wanna Ride?" by Hov
I mean...this is no one-sided producer...if he does the whole album...you are going to get a plethora of sounds...with that same cohesiveness that Sub mentioned.

I want him to produce the entire album. No 90%....100%. He can do it and it'll be nice. I dont' want a compilation. I want a cohesive album with a solid theme that doesn't sound like a bunch of shit thrown together for the sake of having diff. producers.

Edit:
Anyone listen to The-Dream's album? I know. Bad comparison but outside of a few tracks, that album transitioned nicely as fuck. That's what I want from this Jay-Z/Kanye collabo--an album that's consistent and transitions perfectly.
