I don't care, iTAL tEK has made a (perhaps first) dubstep classic, it's fuckin downright retarded how good Cyclical is.

for meeee?? blinkyeyes

Nah seriously, this is really good mix so far; nice one ;) Now i have to get you something :D

Have you heard Mary Anne Hobbs' new compilation album? 'Evangeline', that's really good. Of course you probably know about flylo's new album on warp, that's one of my albums of the year tbh.

*Do you have to wait for the cue sheet?

Still can't get enough of that latest Burial CD. What other albums are like 5star must have joints?? thx

love burial. it's hard for me to pay full attention to it sometimes though.

ya some of it can be less than engaging but it's still beautiful music. But that's nice sometimes, this last year at college Burial was up there with Miles Davis, Boards of Canada, and Bach as my favorite study music. Good stuff to have in the background that won't distract you too much.

I don't know what exactly constitutes dubstep and I'm too lazy to listen to the linked songs, but check out De Facto. Good shit.

^uhh?

But brey that track is fire. I think plastician used it in his 2008 mix. Or ive heard it on some mix lol.

Anyone hear skream's essential mix from like 06 i think. It hits so hard but i think plastician is a better mix DJ that skream though

the dusk+blackdown record is great.. probably my fave dubstep djs of the moment too. the free podcast below is really good

http://www.xlr8r.com/podcast/2008/08/dusk-blackdown
Their friendship formed over a mutual love for a Stevie Wonder tune, and Dusk + Blackdown have been DJing and producing music together ever since, rolling out the dubstep and grime beats and generally causing havoc on the dancefloor. Based in London, they also run Keysound Recordings and capture the dark environment of their city through their music. "Of those making dark beats in London, the only single factor that united everyone was their London surroundings," says Blackdown.

Thus, for this installment of the XLR8R Podcast, the boys prepped a very special exclusive mix that distinctly calls to mind the urban landscape of their hometown. Even better, most of the tracks on this hour-long mix are unreleased cuts that won
