just got into dubstep lately
went to an afterparty at a club my mate owns and nero was playing and i really liked the vibe

checked through the thread and listened to a few of the posted tracks
just wanted to know if someone could help me to get a grounding on dubstep
any albums/artists that i must check out?

i prefer the more chilled out/heavy bass drops rather than the uptempo/more dnb sounding beats

check out these artists

skream, sukh knight, rusko, benga(GRIMEY), 12th planet, emalkay, chase and status, coki, trolley snatcha, cookie monsta.

32 subs at the venue. Their system is so loud they give you ear plugs. Mala played there a few weeks ago and he said he wants to host a DMZ there because the system is so good.

Well, Breakage is playing in Dallas and Loefah + Matty G are playing in Houston on Saturday, so I have to pick between to the two!

But, shit...It's mother fucking LOEFAH! If Houston wasn't 4 1/2 hours away I would pick that show for sure, but who knows if I can make it
Jul 27, 2010 @ 23:17
Yeah, man...I shit bricks when I found out he was coming.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, Loefah will not be able to appear at the 5 scheduled US dates this week. His visa was detained without explanation from the consulate. Unfortunately, the visa acquisition process is never a black & white affair and as far as we can tell nothing points to why this would have happened in this case. Loefah is extremely disappointed & wants everyone to know he plans to reschedule the shows & return for a tour as soon as the appeal process & his schedule will permit. Thank you for your understanding in this matter." - Surefire Agency -

I just recently got into dubstep when I was at a club and they we're playing it. I'd say hit up youtube, snag some of those chrispy remixes and just follow the videos on the side from there.
