MF DOOM is one of my favorite underground rappers but he is no god. He is just really creative and I like that. Aesop...I can't even HEAR what he fucking says. All his shit sounds like super bad quality and he is mumbling over a weird ass alien beat.

IDk about these other dudes, but when I bought MM...Food? I hadn't even heard his voice before, I bought it solely because I had seen an [adult swim] drop where they were talking about Dangerdoom. IDK how I could be a bandwagon jumper if I had never even heard his name or voice before I bought the album.

See, I like Aesop Rock for his swag, and his strange ass delivery. Structurally, when it comes to putting together rhyme patters, the man's a genious. He comes off as weird 'cause he rambles on, but he has depth. Seeing him live made me appreciate him so much more. As nonsensical as he seems, dude really got some things to say...take for example the line: 'Be All You Can Be' just never soothed us...they lost me in the part about scrubbing piss with a toothbrush! <-- That's ill, no lie. He's creative. Some of his stuff makes absolutely no sense and he admits to that, but he puts passion into his strange way of rapping. DOOM is just raw though, no beatin around the bush. He brings it everytime.
