I've been really into the whole dance and house compilations lately. You know, the Ministry of Sound, Annual Ibiza, stuff like that.

I just picked up these:

Yoshitoshi Montreal Mixed by Sultan
Ministry of Sound Annual Italy 2008
Dennis Ferrer's The World As I See It (not really compilation, but deep house)

Anybody else into dance/house and might wanna recommend some albums/singles? That'd be a great help, and if you could school me on this, that'd be great too. lol

Song is Balmes (Better place) by Ian Pooley/Esthero

Some dope dancing in that video too. Mad soul.

Maybe some video comments can help you discover some other artists too.

Ministry of Sound- Chillout Sessions

it's a series of comps MoS puts out. It's like laid back house, electronica, and even some indie. it's good music to chill and smoke to, not really bouncy dance music or anything like that tho.

^ Yeah, word. Hit me up with whatever chillout, trance, electronica, house you know about. I dig it all, especially the bouncy dance music, too. lol

I just discovered the Destination Lounge compilations. They do it by city (NYC, San Fran, Hong Kong, etc.), but I'm having trouble finding some to download. I'll see what I can find.

damn I miss the UK music video channels, they always played house vids which definitely have the hottest women in em. In the US house gets not play on TV, hardly on the radio...mostly just in clubs

Sasha - Involver

One of the best mixes ever.

And... check out anything by James Zabiela. His DJ skills are on point.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViHJMEonZe0

www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOhR3IgV4Wk

This was done live using 3 turntables. He's mixing Sasha - Wavy Gravy and Mike Koglin - Enjoy the Silence. To be able to do this at all is kinda crazy, but live? Out of control.

Also, check out mixes by Hernan Cattaneo. The Renaissance Master Series are both sick, as are Sequential.
