So, in everyone's opinion, who is their favorite rapper who has passed on? I believe that hip hop is currently in a state of chaos, and I'm feelin a strong sense of nostalgia for the good ole days. I'll give a list of some of the less famous artists who people might have forgotten about so we don't get just another Tupac/Biggie debate.

Mac Dre
Big Pun
Big L
Jam Master J
Soulja Slim

I'm from northern california, so I gotta be biased and go with Mac Dre....the man had amazing swag, excellent production, and some of the funniest lyrics I've ever heard.

This be the realest shit I ever wrote
Against all odds, up in the studio, gettin blowed
To the truest shit I ever spoke

This little ***** named Nas thinks he live like me
Talkin bout he left the hospital took five like me
You living fantasies, ***** I reject your deposit
We shook Dre punk ass, now we out of the closet

In my opinion
Big L, He's grimy as a mother fucker, but he's got that new york flavor that I cannot get enough of, He definitly isnt recognised enough lately, maybe thats a good thing, the way they murdered half of biggies tracks on new shit and created a million new pac songs...what a shame, anyway, big l RIP

my opinion proof was a terrible rapper. I liked pun but i lost alot of my respect for him when i saw the video of him pistol whipping his wife in front of his kid.
Sounds cliche but Pac. I just wish people would let him rest and stop releasing all his work as cameos he would probably never do. Plus im sure theres a reason he let this stuff go unreleased. Just my opinion.
