Any Descendents or Screeching Weasel fans? Pop Punk legends.
Definitely agree with Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat.
Early Bad Religion had some great punk/hardcore songs.
June 12, 2012 @ 06:30:20
Screeching Weasel has a lot of catchy shit, early Blink wasn't bad too.

Don't badmind me.

Dude Ranch is one of the best Pop Punk albums imo. Without blink-182, most kids don't get through middle school. It's funny hearing late 20 year olds singing about teen problems.

i think the title of this thread pokes at being favorite punk bands are The Ramones n Subhumans(U.K, DIck Lucas).. I know Ramones get a lot of flack for being the punk band that wanted to be mainstream, only to reach mainstream status after they all died, but their 20 years of nonstop touring gives them a shitload of cred. Subhumans had some dope song with smart lyrics, The Day the Country died is a classic punk lp

Damn lol

Seen these guys at a small venue, fuck, almost 10 years ago(old guy moment, *tear*), it was a good show. Can't remember if they played with the Heatskores or if that was a different show, either way, if you like AAA, you'll probably like The Heatskores, and man, did they ever put on an awesome live show. Plus, they always did a Nazi White Trash cover, and I fucking loved anything and everything Crack Rock Steady back in those days.

Greatest in terms of most influential? probably Black Flag or something.
My favorites would be: Crisis or The Mob or Gorilla Biscuits. I like different styles.
June 23, 2012 @ 03:39:33
Went to Warped Tour yesterday, and saw this band. Probably the greatest live show I've been to.
