Gretest Punk Band Ever?

Sep 18, 2007 @ 21:02
It's funny what some people think are punk. I really like the Dead Kennedy's. Love that west coast 80's punk scene the best. Not that new shit.

Blondie!!! they're the greatest!!
Sep 23, 2007 @ 13:41
Gotta be The Clash for me but like somebody else said, they did so much more with the music then most punk bands. They had so much different styles mixed in which appeals to me more then any other punk band.

you talking with richard hell or without.... after he left the band television was not much like the pistols at all... television with richard hell was the first band to play at cbgb tho... and that pretty much opened the door for everyone else... and really for bands to play live original music in NYC

Op Ivy
Minor Threat

If you haven't listened to Jesse Michael's new band, you should. Classics of Love. Sounds like 80's punk.
Formaldehyde Junkies were a sweet band that sounded like 80's punk/hardcore.
