Pharrell barely samples in comparison to Kanye tho..., but I've always thot Kanye was then the Pharrell, but not better then The Neptunes (Pharrell & Chad, maybe ya didnt know lol).

Edit didnt kno Just Blaze was in the equation lol, Just over all of them, im on that band wagon lol.

I personally like kanye's beats better than anything...imo kanye is more consistent - thats important

"this can't be life" is one of my favorite jay songs..also "never change" "heart of the city" "lucifer"..it could go on

yeah kanye fits jay better even timbo and jay is a good combo but who cares if kanye samples hip hop from the beginning is about sampling so i don't think that sampling is an issue

I personally think that Kanye and Just Blaze should go back and forth doing alternate songs on his album.

Just Blaze is usually straight heat. Timbo took all the headlines last year, but Just Blaze kept on his grind with the quiet money, doing some of the best stuff on Doctor's Advocate (way underrated, Just Blaze does the last track with Nas and Floetry, it's like 9 minutes long), also Champ off Fishscale and some of the best stuff on the regrettable Kingdom Come.

Pharell's not really a good match for Hov. Change Clothes was one of the few weak tracks on the black album. But when Pharell takes charge of an album he's full of surprises. In Search Of... is in my top 10, he gave Slim Thug some bangers, and of course his work for the Clipse speaks for itself (mr. me too's dark minimalism was underrated, flaunted all expectations).

Kanye's done great stuff, especially for the Game, but he needs to step up to stay ahead, and maybe start producing more of the stuff on his own albums. I don't doubt that he can though. Maybe he can lace Jay with another Izzo yet.

i love Ant. he's done a plethora of good stuff outside of Atmosphere like Brother Ali, Felt, etc etc - but I don't know if Jay-Z would go well with Ant.

That being said, I like Just Blaze more than Kanye. The Why You Hate The Game track with nas & Game. OMG. But I'd go with Kanye because he meshes the best, and I prefer his drums over Pharrel's.
