Great album. So many good tracks - School Spirit, Jesus Walks, Never Let You Down, Spaceship, Last Call, Through the Wire just to name a few. The College Dropout really brought forward that pitched up soul sample style of hip hop production too

I really like Kanye's old shit, you could really hear Kanye's voice and the Creativity in his songs. Those Samples were so Soulful and the Realness in it was what made Kanye stood out. Spaceship is my favorite yeezy song, cause Ye went off on GAP in the verse lol. And Last Call was jus a track that all Aspiring Artists and Yeezus Fans gotta listen to. Ye made classics when he was a College Dropout.

i get such a different vibe from kanye with each album that it all comes down to preference.  I'll never argue with someone which album is actually better over others

i feel it, always thought that his hook from "Wow" that he spit on Last Call sounds mad better on there than the actual track. :x

One of the albums that I got a physical copy of. Classic rap album here..

Recently came across the live performances in Amsterdam with Ye himself and others such as John Legend.

Graduation is my personal favorite, but that doesn't change the fact that this was a phenomenal piece of work.

Was truly before it's time. I find it rare that artists these days can put in as much as Ye did for this album.

at the time this album was taking rap  to a new direction because rap was in it's "gangsta" era. he changed the game by focusing on general issues as opposed to hood related problems. as far as kanye albums go graduation is my favorite.

I don't know if y'all are fans of Chance The Rapper but he said this album had a huge influence in his music career in his complex interview.

One of my favorite albums to date, definitely a gamechanger in terms of how hip-hop music would sound for years coming.

Should do one of these Revisited threads weekly. @jackpurcell

I honestly don't understand why people hate on 808s & Heartbreaks?

I dunno if it's just me but nowadays when you listen to albums from old and or new artist there's only a maximum of 3 tracks right off the bat that you'll like. I remember when I listened to this album you'd have like 5-7 tracks you will religiously listen. I feel like music fell off in general

FS - Supreme Nupste, WTAPS Parasmock ETC

It's a classic, but I like that Kanye is changing. Otherwise it wouldn't be entertaining anymore. He's progression and his success at it is what makes him a god. If he stay raping like he did during late registration, and college drop out it would get old just like how Lil Wayne is right now.
