yeah its alright. boring might be the word. not terrible "per se"

"Problem" (if it really is one) i personally have is that i hear nothing new or refreshing. To me its just the absolute formulaic cookie cutter hip hop. Do you aspire to make a more creative sound?  In my opinion, i would experiment more; a lot more. Take some far left field inspiration from any other type of music/artists you like regardless of genre. Create your very own unique sound and style regardless of what people might think is acceptable.

All in all wish you the best of luck. Definitely post more music for sure man, i'll keep listening

1. no one wants to see this nigga reading right off his blackberry, is he too stupid to memorize his lines or is he just texting his mom when he'll be home?

2. the part where he says "toxic" and then the words toxis show up was super fucking corny

3. too many random  effects that dont match the vibe of the song

4. the track sucked the video was the only reason i kept watching

video: 7/10

track: 1/10

yo jordan, keep it up man. everyone who says people need new fresh shit, yeah thats true to a certain extent. everyone tries to be fresh now that it isn't fresh at all.

like rhettmatic said, dilla did the opposite of what was considered fly. when people were digging in the crates, he was going electro, when hip hop started getting elec, dilla went back in the crates. swim upstream homie, i support you 100.

the only critique, i really think you have potential to make it. if you're trying to take this to the next level, got to market yourself. make yourself stand out a little more. everyone hated on joey badass saying he was boring, redundant hip hop. i knew that kid was gna blow up. keep it up fam, if you got time peep my beats. one

You have a lot of potential.  I like the track. You have a good flow. The lyrics aren't mind blowing, but you have a lot of good foundation to build upon.

My suggestions:

get more comfortable in front of the camera.  It's not coming off natural.

Record reference tracks.  Reading off your lyrics always takes a little something away from the track.  Memorize them joints. Then after you've got them memorized like the back of your hand, record the final draft. You'll notice you have a lot more confidence and better presence on the track.

Keep up the good work.

This was a good track and production was on point, there is potential in your music and it just needs to be improved upon and also try to come up with a unique type sound in your music also, many new rappers are doing similar type sound as this; like that guy said in the post earlier, you recognize the basics, now time to elevate it b, keep up the good work fam
