Whole album lives up to expectations and gets better with additional listens. Combines some styles from "Discovery" with a Michael Jackson "Off the Wall" feel, it's perfect.

I love how this was released about a year after "Channel ORANGE" too, another masterpiece to me... Love to see classics come out so close to each other, like when Kanye dropped "Graduation" and N*E*R*D came out with "Seeing Sounds" the year after.

luckily on itunes you can right click the track, hit get info,
and you can set it to play at 1:52.7 seconds and the song will
start right after his last word.

Touch is the best song on the album.
the first 40 seconds of "Beyond" is amazing.
"Contact" makes you feel weightless, even though the lead took way too long too come to its peak.
i love the harmony in "Doin it Right"

You are very right, Touch is the most underestimated song on the album. Easily one of the best in my opinion, according to iTunes popularity chart it's the least bought.

To me the songs ran together a little, but it still produced an amazingly unique sound. Give Life Back To Music, Giorgio, Get Lucky, Motherboard, and Contact are my favorites at the moment.

People who dont like the new album
got into EDM when it became a trend
and dont understand real music.

....c'mon man dont generalize.
to me* this album is subpar, i actually only like 2-3 songs.
Then again Im honestly amazed @ how much hype it had before release. Maybe it was because of kanye & pharrell, but (imo), Daft Punk gets wayyyy to much praise in the EDM circles. All their "hits" are not only sampled, but have barely any production value. check this, you might change your mind:

Did you not read any of their interviews/articles before they released this album?
They talk about how theyre making everything from scratch instead of using all these kits and reused beats in
todays edm songs. If you sit there and really listen to the track and try to break down all the work that was put
into it, youll be just as amazed as I am. Theyve been working on it since '08 that just goes to show you how
much work they put into it.

About two years ago I predicted that it would take a very famous electro artist to bring italo disco out from gay nightclubs to the masses. Here we are..

edit: Well, technically Spank Rock did it with Mobroder first I guess, but that wasn't to the masses.

After reading multiple comments and opinions, i think ,ost of you are forgetting the concept of the album. Random Access Memories. It's meant to remind you of good times or a certain sound that takes you back to a great memory of yours. Of course, it affects different individuals in different ways, for example, the bad reviews.. I think too many people were hoping to hear more EDM club hits and shit. Jay z said it best, plain and simple, " niggas want my old shit, buy my old album." It just goes to show that artists evolve and try new things. Is kanye rapping about being late to college classes anymore? Is eminem stringing together raps about rape still? Daft punk wanted to "Give life back to Music" (pun intended) and it maybe a sound that they grew up on, for example, disco, 70's, 80's, and of course a little EDM and a touch of robotic voices. But it's what they felt. It's what they wanted to put out. No album is great after the first listen. You have to experience it mutliple times. With this album, a simple guitar riff or robotic voice chorus can bring back a memory. I can single out the sound and single out the memory it reminds me of. That's just how this album hits me. I think it is really thought out and i love the album!
