Eccentric Sentry - The reviewhahaha i didn't know how to mix on some of those tracks back then but it's still good to hear you got a good listen from it however I've gotten way better since thanks for the words imma shape up to an undeniable 10.
I wasn't given an actual project to work with, so I listened to the first 10 tracks I saw on dudes soundcloud. Let me start on the positives. Dude has impeccable beat selection; I don't think there was a beat I didn't like on there. The tracks were usually a perfect length, and trust me, that really matters when you're new & want people to check out your music (not too long to prevent skips). As an emcee this guy doesn't really stand out in any way, but he also doesn't necessarily do anything bad. Only real gripes I had with the rapping was vocal quality at times as well as the constant feeling that dude is really an amateur on the mic, syllables at times were lazily spit out & I constantly got the impression that he wasn't writing to the beat but just spitting a dope notebook verse he had. Regardless, I had a good listen. Features were good as well.

I only saw 3 tracks on the soundcloud page provided so that's what my review is based on. First impressions wise, I definitely got a stoner rap vibe from this guy, dude sounds like Casey Veggies a little. Lots of cut-and-paste stoner lines & hooks, nothing really stood out on that end. About the hooks, though, they need work. The ideas for them were there but dude's execution could've definitely been more polished. This is again a case of a bad mic/bad vocal mixing/combination of both.. But I could hear the lyrics so its whatever. From what I can see on his soundcloud bio is that he's 17, and it shows in his music. It's a great start if he's just barely warming up to the mic, but he has a long road ahead if he wants to make a real name for himself.
