that is true. its not like his own hard work, life experiences, and lyricism had anything to do with it.

well yeah because he didnt have a single fan before that. he wasnt well known in the underground and wasnt part of black hippy. and even if he was, its not like black hippy is regarded as a supergroup or anything

Dr. Dre should be thanking his ghost producers and ghost writers

to think that this kid was once a mod and now wants to mod the music forum when he doesn't even knows a single thing about music.

kendrick lamar will rise as the "new 2pac", as in being a "flower that grew from concrete". his follow-up album will be hyped as even more "reflective" and "deep" than GKMC. then he's going to be murdered on the eve of the album release by the very gangsters he raps about abandoning. the world will never know "his true potential" and he will achieve martyr status. the illuminati has already decided.

If anything Kendrick gave Dre a little publicity when he wrote those verses for him.

dr. dre needs kendrick as much as kendrick needs him. the only way for an aging musician to stay relevant is to find and develop the next big thing. he did it with eminem and that played it's course, now he's gonna have to do it again with kendrick.

TBH the parallels between Kendrick and Pac are very queer (triple entendre don't ask me how). Both are closeted homos, both are really overrated, and both are popular artists in the gay community (along with A$U$$ Rocky).

Dre only seems to act as a ceremonial endorsement. which is cool but has little to do with kendrick and his music.
