I listened to your backroad music track, I'd say just work on the mix so it sounds more blended and balanced out.


Rapping starts at 1:13 but the beat is sick either way.


I recorded it on the iMac mic and I really don't have much to work with but garagaband so my mix pretty much is a skeleton and it kinda sucks but whatever, you get the idea.

@Retz ah...man. I liked the cover art. told myself I'd listen to 3 songs even if I didn't like them, just to give it a chance.. i knew it'd be chill music but didn't really do it for me. I guess the first record didn't sound like even you knew the lyrics. not on some snob shit, you just lacked presence. I listened to the second record assuming it'd be better...but whoever the second guy is wasn't even on beat. idk dude. it's just not really good. Not to mention the complete sense of monotony and direction on the third record. And the mix just...was bad. If you're just in it for fun, do it forever. but if you're trying to like..DO music either get a lot better or quit. nothing personal..

@Keety. beat had potential. mix was bad.. lyrics were basic, if you're JUST starting out it's not terrible. But I just don't see myself...or anyone actually just listening to that record again..

@hollywoodfloss was good. not my cup of tea. but i could soo why people would like it. the mix quality's good and he has mic presence. he got the occassional corny metaphor, but i at least feel like he's been rapping for more than a week. I couldn't see dude "blowing up" but with the right following he could be a hard regional following....where's dude from?
