as a listener, one thing i hate is a good concept but bad executiion and im hearing a lot of that on here. more time could be spent polishing up beats and lyrics. it could be from better instrumentation to better word choice. so far only noah caine has both a good concept and a good execution. just my opinion.

its straight. nothing that wont improve over time. i would just watch your beat selection. your recording quality is a little grimy so i would suggest using more grimy beats to blend. Blu's last mixtape with madlib as a reference. this way the lo fi will sound more stylistic than recording flaw.

the recording quality is because i dont have a studio or anything. I'm just recording in my room. I want to get a real recording studio to take away from that grimy sound. Thanks for the feedback tho. Got something i can listen to?

@chocopacaso i like the selection and some of the chops but not the kits you use. just switch the instruments out with some new kits and i think it will sound a lot better

Yo RBTJNS Your Beats Are Nice I Liked The Chops On Dark Matter But Some Of The Beats Just Sound Like You Took A Sample And Add Drums To Them. Honestly, Anyone Can Do That. I Produce Shit Too So I Know How Easy It Is. I'm Not Gonna Tell You What To Do, But For Me, If You Sample, You're A Much Better Musician If You Do Shit With The Sample, Cuz Right Now, Anybody Can Do What You Do. You Know? No Offense, But If You Notice, The Number Of Self Produced Tapes Is Rising Because Of The DIY Rap Scene, But Also Because It's So Easy To Sample. Chopping Shit Extra Nice Gives Your Beats More Character And Allows You To Stand Out From The Crowd. Sampling Can Be The Shit From A Musical Point If It's Creative And At Least Somewhat Different Like It Was On Dark Matter, But When You Just Find Some Shit Someone Produced And Put Drums Over It And Loop It The Shit Sounds Repetitive And Bland. No Hate Though Cuz I Was Fucking With The Beats.
