Childish Gambino has some clever word play, not really a story but he has some alright shit on his mixtapes.

Big krit is nice but i wouldn't exactly call him a lyrical rapper. his lyrics are nice but he's got that southern feel with those dope beats and he even throws juicy j 2 chainz and waka on there and it still sounds good. I feel like lyrical rappers mainly rap on smooth beats that blend in with the background and the emphasis is on the lyrics, my definition of lyrical rappers might be completely wrong though

Earl Sweatshirt, and Childish Gambino have some of the most "intelligent" rap I've ever heard. Also MF doom is nice as well.
