I like them because their songs aren't all the same like most other "rappers" today, like Wiz (Weed, money, hoes, etc. in every song). Also I just like their music in general, Earl, Domo, and Hodgy are pretty good rappers, and Frank has an amazing voice.

There's more to OF than Tyler and songs like "Bitch Suck Dick", etc. People like them because they don't sound like anyone else. It took me a while to find the songs I liked by them but once I started listening to Hodgy, some of Domo's stuff, Mike G, you'll appreciate them more. Tyler is just the front man he's not the best artist of the crew.

lol at OF hype. they actually have talent and fans, even tho OF fans are creepy and annoying. the initial hype died a year ago. like em or not they're the most talented group in hip hop to surface probably in the last 10 years.

Earl already had dropped an album I don't know if you're talking about a new one, but he's old one was self titled "Earl." As far as odd future goes they remind me of an old Eminem in how they spit, what was it called again? I think dystopian rap or "shock" rap.

this is the super simple explanation.

anybody that complains about how theyre not good rappers, or that tyler's beats suck is missing the bigger picture. artists nowadays have to sell their image as much as their music, and odd future (mostly tyler) has a compelling image to sell.

being into OF is more about making a statement to the people around you than it as about anything else it seems

most nerds care more about what other people think than about thinking for themselves, you know how it is

when tyler was posting the of tape and shit here way back i'd try showing it to my friends or playing it at college parties and nobody fucking liked it, they'd all complain about the dissonant beats / how weird his voice sounded etc
