Idk who inspired you guys, but I keep seeing these beat tapes being posted by you niggas that have been producing for like 5 minutes and think for some reason you need to put out a beat tape. First make some HOT beats. Once you make a couple of those then you make a beat tape that shows off your talent rather than these 7/10 beats that are just a waste of EVERYONE'S time. That's my rant.

Okay when I post my beats tapes I'm just looking for feedback, how do you expect anyone to get better without constructive criticism? I don't know how long "a minute" is to you for producing but I've been producing for about two years and I can honestly say constructive criticism helps the most. It's better to get someone else's opinion on something. If someone is trying to network why do you feel the need to shoot them down? There just trying to get there name out there...

2 years...I'm not talkin to you. Let's be honest though in music constructive criticism = you listen to everything,you sound like everyone. You don't listen to anything you find your way ANYWAY. If you can't tell when something you made is wack then you have another issue on your hands. These beat makers need to find an artist,sit with them,and work to learn how to be a PRODUCER. Then they'll see what makes a beat tape rather than a bunch of beats put together. It's like these artists throwing random songs together and calling it an album. It's not the same!

Okay then I see where you're coming from haha I call tell when I make a good beat or bad beat, I have tons of bad beats not released at all and just saved on my hard drive. But you have to understand some people don't have the opportunity to sit down with rappers and go through the producing process. Some producers are mad talented but live NO WHERE close to a city you know? But also you it's not handed to you, you need to grab the opportunity yourself.
