Tbh, I thought the horrendous Lasers album was the doing of Atlantic Records but his most recent tracks/features prove that he has indeed fallen off, which also means that he has lost the title of being my favorite rapper (gee what a title right

Everything on Friend of the People was beyond satisfactory. And plus, Lasers wasn't that bad;
"Till I Get There"
"Words I Never Said"
...so on and so forth...

Trey Songz, "The Show Goes On", and tracks with MDMA can be ignored though.

I was happy with LASERS, but it had a current sound. His 1st two albums couldn't be dated.

Nah Lasers wasn't that bad of an album, but it was bad compared to what Lupe can actually do. The lyrics or beats weren't as good as F&L or The Cool. He had simple thyme schemes and didn't use the double, triple, and quadruple entendres that make Lupe great.

i don't understand why nikkas are salty. These are the same nikkas that said that Lupe was like the 2nd coming of jigga man. I'm starting to believe that now. Jay-Z's 1st number 1 album was his third album which was mainstream.

Nikkas just need to deal with it. Lupe is not going back to his old self like Jigga hasn't gone back to the old RD days.

It was good, but Lasers was so bad it made FOTP easily forgettable or people not like it all together. Hopefully he regains his OG F&F self for this.
