I just can't wrap my head around how they got Black Hippy (cuz we all know that Ab-Soul and Jay Rock will be there, with Q and Kendrick making appearances for each other's set), A$AP/Clams Casino and Danny Brown. Last year the only rappers were Das Racist and Odd Future, groups that most black people don't know about or won't fuck with if they did know about them. I'm really hoping alot of the South Side nignogs show up cuz of Rocky and BH cuz I want to see how the hipsters react when they see the "urban struggle" up close. Having AraabMUZIK and Flying Lotus aren't half-bad additions either.

Tickets are still cheap as fuck. Even though the $110 3-day passes are sold out, paying $135 for all three days is still better than getting your wallet butt-fucked for Lolla and those big-ass crowds. Granted, for Lolla there's always the ten-finger discount (jumping the fences) if you don't get caught trying.

You think so? I feel like the mag really put some time into getting some big acts. It isn't Lolla, but it isn't priced like Lolla either, thankfully.

I mean it looks like they are putting more emphasis on hip-hop, which is cool. My first reaction was that the headliners are terrible compared to years past though. Maybe it's just me.

Yeah if you're thinking outside of the rappers, cuz they've used at least one of those acts in the past (Sleigh Bells). But it's nice to see that the mag really threw down to get some rappers with serious cred. This year's crowd will be very colorful to say the least.

Just remember to drop straight to the ground after the first gunshot.

A$AP, Danny Brown, Schoolboy Q, Vampire Weekend, AraabMUZIK, and Kendrick Lamar are the only ones that really excite me, think the lolla line-up is better.

the festival is going to be full of hipsters and goons, and i dont think thats a crowd anyone wants to be in.
