only people who deserve to be on this list is future, danny brown and french. all the other fags are losers with niche fan bases if at all. macklemore is aiite but he has no appeal to anyone outside of white kids or concious hip hop heads. MGK is just supported by every white hick in the mid west and bumble fuck regions of the country. hospin also got that extra large wierd loser white kid fan base. iggy is relying solely on her ass and the fact she fuckin rocky and roscoe dash has been around for a while with radio songs and features so i dont get him. and i have absolutely no idea who kid ink or don trip is.

Future- I only know of two songs from him and I didn't like them: Tony Montana and Racks(not even his song). Don't he use Autotune? I thought Hova killed that shit?

Kid Ink- somehow I knew this tattooed fuck would make it. I am not impressed by what I've heard of him. tumblr blogging ass girls who stare at lightskin niggas with tattoos and jordans are probably his core fanbase.

Danny Brown- I knew he would be on the list. Been seeing his name all over. He's dope, unique style to him.

French Montana- I don't see the hype behind him really but I see him on everyone's songs. I knew he was going to be on the list.

Macklemore- Who? Never heard of him.

Don Trip- Only heard one song "Letter to my son" and thought he was an old rapper or something. He seem legit, probably got some stories to tell.

Machine Gun Kelly- Kinda gets boring. Only like a few of his songs when he's rapping fast over hard beats. Wild boy sounds forced and got old quick for me but it got me hyped up.

Hopsin- Reminds of old Eminem and Tech N9ne. I can see him linking up with Eminem or someone doing some ill shit.

Iggy Azalea- Everything after the "DRUGS" freestyle was pretty damn weak and repetitive to me. Mixtape was a disappointment. I think the deal with interscope played a roll or something. I started to see how screwed up interscope is after she said Jimmy told her "you're going to be the next Tupac!"........Why in the world would someone want to be "The next Tupac"??. How about building your own legacy and also, Tupac was MURDERED. nobody should want that fate.

Roscoe Dash- Been on the radio and shit for like 3-4 years wtf

Where is: Action Bronson, ASAP Rocky, Earl, School Boy Q, Childish Gambino, Brandun Deshay, XV, Izuna Swift and Young Du-Rag tho??

None of these lists will ever be able to come close to what 2009 had....
They were stacked. It's a shame Charles had such a downward spiral though. He was supposed to be bigger than Drake =/

Macklemore is the best of the group. Danny Brown is pretty raw too but a little different. After that it falls off for me. My 10 would be Schoolboy Q, Asap Rocky, Stalley, Dom Kennedy, Childish Gambino, Action Bronson, Macklemore, Casey Veggies, Ab-Soul and XV. Maybe sub in 2 Chainz for that ignorance.

No one should be upset about their favorite artists not being on the cover this year. If this magazine has taught us anything, it's that artist whom have been dropping mixtapes/albums for 3 years can still be considered a freshmen. I think Rocky will make the list in 2014.
