Kanye is listed as the sole producer in the album liner notes. The only other song writers on the track are Cam and Freddy Briggs who Ye sampled.

"Kanye West's First Beats" Disc 1
Disc 2

“Last week I was stumbling through my garage, searching through old storage bins, when I came across some old beat CDs from my days as a signed Interscope rapper. I was shocked to find that two of them, both given to me in ‘01, had the name Kanye West on them. These two CDs, which I believe are the oldest Kanye beats ever released, now celebrate their 10 year anniversary." - Jensen Karp of The Hypemen

By the way the boy Kanye has had so much help from other producers and shit but regardless, some beats I love of his are Gone, Dark Fantasy( coproduced with RZA), Lucifer beat, Jesus Walks, Glory, Late, anything on 808s and Heartbreak, this nigga just has too many hot beats I love by him. Family Business, All Falls Down etc.

^^That was probably the ONLY Khaled song I've ever liked, everybody killed it on that song, especially Cons.

Good question. I don't know if he's ever made any nonsampled beats on his own, because soul music is his staple when creating tracks.

Honestly, anyone who answers this OP with a beat from Late Registration should know that Jon Brion was behind the brilliance of that entire album, which is why Kanye will probably never produce a piece of work on that level (not even MBDTF). Listen to We Major. I just can't believe that Kanye has enough talent to put out that kind of instrumental. I remember reading a quote from Quincy Jones a few months ago where he replied to Kanye juxtaposing both of them by claiming that Kanye isn't even a composer on such a level to be comparing himself to all of his (Quincy's) work.

My best instrumental that I'm sure was solely produced by Kanye has to be "Ain't No Love (Heart Of The City)".

it says right there in the description, "produced by Kanye West." Kanye and Jon Brion are credited as the producers on the Wikipedia entry as well.

Oh man, I completely forgot about that whole controversy until just now when you mentioned it. The guy's name was Brian Miller sometimes known as Brian 'All Day' Miller. Brian Wilson is one of the Beach Boys.
